Easy breezy Japanese-y As soon as you walk in you are greeted and told how to order though a tablet before seated. Once you finish ordering you will directed to walk through the curtains. Once you do you are transported to a different time and a different place..Japan. As you make your way to your booth you notice the wooden floors, the lighting, the decor, volume of the ambiance is tranquil and controlled. You sit down, hang your bag on the hook near your leg and you'll notice you have both sound and sight privacy so when your slurping away that good broth you won't both anyone. Directly in front of you will bw a window separated by a bamboo like curtain. It will open when your food is ready to be served by a kind voice and clean hands lol..since thats all you really see. Its a unique way of being served and it feels personal some how like youre being served by a family

I haven't been to this Ichiran location for a long time. Luckily on a Friday night there was no wait. I remember a year or two ago there would be a long line. I used to opt for individual booth seating but since we have a little one now, we got the table seating. The hostess was extremely nice. One of the perks is children under 8 years old can eat free and they also give kids a free handout and crayons to keep them busy. I also like their premium high chair. The waitress was okay, she confirmed everyone's seating so she won't mix up our ramen. The ramen is still as good as I remember it. There are so many good ramen restaurants but Ichiran will always be one of the stable.

Really cool vibes and authentic experience with the individual booths, and service was really friendly. However, the food left a lot to be desired, I got my ramen extra salty and thick and it just...wasn't. The noodles were a bit too chewy and the broth was thin. It felt overpriced for the quality.

Honestly, if you really compare it with the Fukuoka one, it’s still a little bit different in the broth. However, it is already almost the most authentic ramen shop and experience outside the Japan. I would say it’s ten out of ten, but having eight out of ten in the States is already something very promising.

Highly recommend to ramen lovers looking for a cozy and chill atmosphere to enjoy a decently sized bowl of ramen! You can get a refill for just a few dollars, but make sure to save some of the soup for that. Ramen firmness and broth spiciness level can be customized while ordering. Staff usually provide a clothing basket to stow away jackets underneath the table to keep aromas from tainting clothing. Def recommend bringing friends or even a date to this place during midday as there is not much of a wait and the atmosphere is more intimate!
